Visit online

The National Museum of American Indian launched its national education initiative—Native Knowledge 360° (NK360°) that aims to transform teaching and learning about American Indians. One way the iniative is supported is through the development of new education resources such as the Pacific Northwest Fish Wars online module or digital lesson. This lesson, intended for middle and high-school students, provides perspectives from Native American community members and their supporters, images, news footage, an interactive timeline, and other sources about an important campaign to secure the treaty rights and sovereignty of Native Nations of the Pacific Northwest.
