Visit online

The National Museum of American Indian launched its national education initiative—Native Knowledge 360° (NK360°) that aims to transform teaching and learning about American Indians. One way the iniative is supported is through the development of new education resources such as the Northern Plains Treaties online module or digital lesson. This lesson, intended for middle and high-school students, explores the intentions, motivations, and outcomes of two treaties: the 1851 Horse Creek Treaty and 1868 Fort Laramie Treaty.
